1. In the process of pipeline installation, RPM pipeline can adopt butt glued connection, socket glued connection, socket inner and outer glued connection, rubber ring socket connection, flange connection and mortar connection. In the process of pipeline installation, rubber ring socket connection, flange connection and mortar connection are the most commonly used. No matter what type of connection, the thermal expansion and thermal stress caused by temperature change should be considered during pipeline installation.

2. In the process of pipeline installation, the excavation width of the bottom of the pipeline trench shall meet the requirements of pipe laying, backfilling, tamping and installation operation, which is generally the pipe diameter plus twice the width of the working face and the thickness of the retaining wall, but the width of the trench bottom shall not be less than 600mm. During pipeline installation, the width of trench working face shall meet the requirements in Table 5. In the process of pipeline installation, the bottom surface of the trench shall be smooth and continuous, and there shall be no boulder larger than 40mm or sharp corner gravel larger than 25mm directly contacting with the outer wall of the pipe.

3. Except for special geological and topographical conditions, the laying requirements of FRP pipes shall be in accordance with the current relevant national or industrial pipeline radiation codes or regulations. In the process of pipeline installation, whether the trench is supported or not should be determined by the construction organization design according to the soil quality, underground water level, slotting section, external load conditions and other factors of the trench. In the process of pipeline installation, the material quality should pass the standard, and the supporting material can be steel, wood or a mixture of steel and wood.
